Sway Bar?

I have an 07 summit 800R (non x-package). My first thought was "get rid of the sway bar." But after talking to the guy I bought it from in West Yellowstone I dont know what to do. He told me that the sway bar actually helps you sidehill and carve, it keeps you stable. He told me if i was jumping a lot it would be a good idea to remove because if you hit a jump a little sideways then it becomes easier to straighten yourself out in the air.
What do you guys think or is it all pretty much personal preference?
He has been a guide out in W. Yellowstone for a long time that is why i value his opinion but i thought i would get some more. Thanks guys!

Ride it first! I wouldn't know about the jumping thing, but it is a tiger by the tail on a bumpy trail without the sway bar.
Great for sidehilling and did'nt seem to matter much in the powder.
Not sure what front shocks you have. If they have screw down preload spring, tighten them as far as they will go.

best thing i did to me REV. i really found a noticable difference in how it sidehilled and carved turns. and for jumping i like not having it. yea you cant rail corners on the trail, but it i wanted to do that i wouldnt have bought a mountain sled....
