Swapping steering post on 2010 M8

Try to remove the stock tele post and install a non tele post.

I have added the BDX anti slop kit to my stock tele post so I understand how to remove it most of the way. There is a stud at the bottom of the post and a nut threads onto that, where do I gain access to loosen the nut on that stud?

Haven't swapped mine, but most likely you will need to remove the skid plate off the bottom so you can see the bottom of the engine. I think you can to it from there.

The worst part is the "hoop" that you had to move to do the anti-slop thing. SInce you have done that, the only other thing is the linkeage bolt and the nut you take out under the tunnel in front of the track. A long extension and a swivel joint and its out in about 1 min.

I just did this on my 09 last week. I like the non adjust post a lot better.
