So I know that everybody has their own preference on suspension setup. I am still kinda new to snowmobileing and don't understand the "geometry" of the suspension. I have a 03 edge and I'm going from a 151 to a 162. I would like to raise the front end because it seems to push a lot of snow but I have read that if I do that it Will make it trench. My main riding is anything off trail, climing, boondocing, and powder. I have also heard about track approach angles and don't understand if you want a steep or a gradual angle. Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks

Get new skis to help keep the front end up. The stock skis are pathetic in deep snow. I just installed slydog powder hound 8'' wide skis on mine but have not tested it yet, stock skis are 5.5" wide. All the new moutain sleds have atleast 7" wide skis.
