My Weight is 250

Front Shocks no sway bar:

How far should I tighten my front springs?

Rear Shocks:

Front?

Rear I am going to set up to the book which is 10 1/8"

Any input greatly appreciated.

Assault or Pro-RMK?

In general there is no standard setup that will suit everybody.

I had to loosen up the rear on my pro. That's because I like a little weight transfer backwards when I use the throttle.
 
Non Assault you will probably need heavier springs without the sway bar, I would assume. I'm 210 and mine are as stiff as they recommend going, and it's borderline as it is. The rear is way too soft, but I'm told heavier springs aren't available yet.
 
I am only 170 lbs..

I backed off my front shocks about 3/8 inch

and the back too...

Easiser to pull over on its side!!

Pro RMK 155" (picked up yesterday)

Just went for a ride in the MN Blizzard. I had the following set-up.

Front Shocks:

I tightened the front shocks to a measurement of 10 1/4"

Rear Shocks:

Front I left it the way it was from the dealer

Rear 10 1/8"

Results:

Loosen the front ski shocks a little.

Any measurements on the skid front shock?
 
I also thought it was a little stiff for me for now out of the box. The way it was set up when I got it anyway and I am 210. I jacked the front off the ground and loosened the springs until they were barely touching each end of the spring, then loosened the rear springs a little as well. Felt better to me and was a little more playful. I'm sure I will have to tighten them up later again when they get loosened up. I like the this new setup. Haven't ridden a lot yet but like the stability improvement so far while still being able to maneuver freely like the 07 dragon. Even with the added stability on the front you can still sidehill very easily without being knocked down the hill if you hit a bump with the ski. Haven't railed too hard on the whoops yet. Maybe when I get used to this new setup I will tighten it back up the way they came. I like these coil overs. Kudos to those who made this sled. Thanks for the post. I am anxious to hear from the snomo freaks what set up they come up with that will be best all around.

I did the same as you and encountered dangerous conditions.

The ski springs are very short on these Pros. I backed my ski shock preload off about an inch in order to get more ride compliance, and everything was good, until I completely unloaded the front end. The small silver cup that the spring rides on on the bottom of the ski shock - when the coil completely unloaded - went flying. You need alot of preload to keep these silver spring seats loaded enough to stay in place.

Make sure you lift your sled onto it's side and double check you have enough preload on the ski shock thats in the air to keep that silver spring cup/washer loaded. You need enough load to ensure the spring cup/washer doesn't fly off the shaft leaving your spring nothing to seat onto.
