Suspension set up

Hi guys! I have a 2017 switchback pro s le. It seems to push through the corners when riding agressive. I touught i could pull down the limiter strap 1 notch but it is as tight as it can go without drilling a 3rd hloe. What are some of your suspension setups? I have seen meassurments for springs like ifs 1.25, are these for the amount of threads showing after adjustment?? Im 220 lbs and a failry agressive rider. Still have stock 4 in carbides and no studs in track. Thanks Chris

What is your front track shock set at????

Also what are you looking to accomplish?

Are you wanting to set it up for better trail manners or powder riding?

When you saying "pushing" is this under sustained throttle, increasing throttle or letting off throttle???

Skinz shock therapy is a good video. Could try out hardcoresledder too, lots of guys with those sleds and might find some more tried and true info. Not to push you away, just pretty much all 155+ axys sleds here set up for deep snow.

Fts is about 3 turns up from a loose spring. Looking for a more aggressive trail set up. It wants to go straight though a corner under acceleration.

So you are looking for a "flat" or "rail" like handling. Most guys around here including myself want power or deep snow handling. Plus I just realized that your running the Pro XC rear suspension, which I have very little time with.

So with that said and it was just previously stated, trying like Hardcore Sledder or something But.......

Start with taking measurements of everything so you have a good starting point or "zero". This way it's easy to return and start over.

I would start with that front track shock and take a turn out at a time and see what it does. You can also tighten the rear track shock but I would only do one at a time and I would definitely start with the front track shock. The rear track shock won't have near as much affect and of course it's going to affect the ride quality too.

Once you get the rear where "you" like it then move to the front ski shocks. Just remember to take a zero measurement and start giving those some adjustment.

Biggest and best advice.......take those zero measurements and don't be afraid to do some adjusting, one thing at at time. What works good or feels good for one person is not always the answer.

Have some fun adjusting and really getting to know your sled and your handling likes and of course Good luck!
