How do you coil over your rear suspension and what does it do?

You change your rear (the rear shock on the rear suspension) to a "coil over" shock. Like the front shocks on your sled or the rear shock on a motorcycle. Those are coil over shocks. The spring coil is over the shock absorber. Stock you sled and a shock and 2 separate springs on either side of the suspension. I think the basic idea is weight loss. And I am sure that coil over shocks are a better performing shock.

Good description from Rixster but the gain is far more than weight loss. Much improved adjustability and ride quality come with the coil over.
