Looks like pretty much the same concept.

Of course one is the lighter single seat, skinny, long track, mountain model with more venting and no LED lights this year.

Looking at the spindle/ski/steering design, I gotta believe that it would have extremely heavy steering.

Exactly, and the track/rear suspension doesn't carry much of any of the weight. Just pushes. Thank Francis W Davis for hydraulic power steering eh!
