Supreme Tool & Machine shipping costs

I just paid $21.36 for a $15 part from these guys...I found out after they shipped it. Now I didn't ask what the shipping cost would be and they didn't say...but considering it's May...and they didn't overnight it (it'll take six days)...why wouldn't they ask, hey, you want us to send this as cheaply as possible? Or, $21.36 sounds like a lot to ship a $15 part (that weighs nothing and is the size of my finger) maybe we should look into a cheaper method of shipping.

Anyone else pay a retarded amount of money for shipping from these guys or am I the only one feeling like I got hustled?

Join the club, we are a dealer and still get screwed on shipping for just clutch kits. Cant remember how much it was for our shipping but it was a ton!

The AK crew gets violated again, hate that when they do something like that. They have access to flat rate boxes and envelopes that are cheap, why don't they use them? I know I won't order anything from anyone that gouges on shipping costs.

So many places in the states are used to sending everything ups ground as it is cheaper than mail in the states. Problem is coming up here ground is almost as much as 2nd day air. I have learned to ask if they will ship via usps since I live in Alaska. Most will, if not, I shop elsewhere.

Its not Supreme's shipping cost- its UPS's shipping cost. UPS Ground to Alaska is a killer!

UPS is rediculous to Canada from the US too! I always request USPS or shop elsewhere.

I try to buy from companies that ship USPS but sometimes it's not always possible. I just bought airbags for my truck from Summit Racing. Paid $50($10 was handling charge) for 2nd day UPS. If a company won't ship via the post office, we pay through the roof for UPS or FedEx. Sad part is, even with the huge shipping cost my total was $302, and the same airbags in town were $352. Hard to to buy local when even the locals rape you on cost. I try to buy from companies that ship USPS but sometimes it's not always possible.
