Superclamps in Trailswest with floor heat

Just wondering if any if you guys with Trailswest trailers with floor heat have installed Superclamps. I didnt know if the heater vent layout under the floor would interfere with bolting the tiedown hooks in the floor

Thanks!

Don't you have some L Track in the trailer?

You can just get the deck hook. Even if you have to install some of your own L track, that is what I did, super nice!

This hook goes perfect into any l track

No, I don't have the L Track in the trailer. The track was what I planned on putting in but my concern is bolting the track through the floor. I wasn't sure when drilling holes in the floor for the track if I would be drilling into the duct for the floor heat and not having access to the bolts. I don't know if that makes sense or not but I haven't looked so see if the floor heat duct was in the center of the skis or off center a little bit.

Okay, sorry.
I don't have a ducked floor but I can't imagine a few short screws that go into the plywood would make too much of a difference?
Good luck, I really like having my superclamps in the trailer!

There use to be a poll on here about using tie downs in a enclosed trailer.

Anyway, I fall into the No tie down group, and so does everyone I have ever ridden with. Trailer 1500-2000 miles on trips and never had an issue. Just set the parking break and maybe toss some bags between sleds if they are close.

I have seen pics of rolled trailers and sleds tied down.... They all got ripped out anyway.

Just something to think about. Eric

SRX, Thanks for the info but I want the clamps because the sled are on Superglides and when you brake the sleds slide forward and if I can avoid dents and dings in a $17,000 trailer the clamps are worth their weight in gold.

Could you possibly look under the trailer to see how the heating vents run?
IF you could see them it would let you know where you could mount your brackets. Don't know anything about Trails West trailers, just an idea I had when reading your post.
Good luck with your project, and I tie sleds down in my enclosed.

So I have made calls to Trials West and they can't really give me a clear answer to this question. So if anyone that has a Burandt Trailer with floor heat that has installed Superclamps please let me know.

Thanks
