Just got my first enclosed trailer. Trying to find some pics of other trailers that have the super guides in them. The trailer is a 8 wide by 24 with the v nose. It has the fender wells inside the trailer. Also was wondering what every one used to hang up stuff in the trailer. Thanks for any info in advance.

Don't bother. Guides do more harm than good. Trap dirt, water and snow, trip and slip hazard, expensive. Just bare plywood works fine and lasts a surprisingly long time. The only place it might help is on the front ramp style doors. Helps the ski take a bite and self steers the sled out of the trailer.

I used a rack system from Lowes for hanging stuff to dry. It is cheap & seems like it should work good. Just got it installed so I haven't tried it yet. Here are a few pics. Josh

modedmach thats just how my trailer is set up now with the fender wells inside like that. I like your system i will look into that. and dont worry I wont listen to matte. From all the stuff I have seen they look like they get air and breath pretty good. By the time the wood rots it will be time for a new trailer anyway. Thanks for the info and the pics. Its hard to find any good pics of trailers that are not made up for racing or that have stuff that cost a lot of money.

I use Superglides for the floor and have the drop deck so I need to deal with the wheel wells. Seldom need to go over them as I just position the sled after I ride it in.
For the wall I added Super hang alls also from Superclamp last year. Stores all my hang up stuff and is dry by morning.
Use Superclamps to secure the sleds without worries.

Go ahead and spend money travydog. Get those clamps too. They are useless in an enclosed trailer. The ONLY time they might serve a purpose in an enclosed trailer is during an accident. One strap over the rear bumper if you are concerned. What do those glides actually do? See the guys trailer who is showing his storage system. His floor doesn't look damaged at all. I get the clamps for a deck or open trailer but for an enclosed you are just throwing money away. Set the brakes on your sled and they won't move unless you hit something really hard, like a bridge abutment. The guy I bought my trailer from REALLY wasted money. He Rino lined the whole thing, like $2000 but even he wasn't stupid enough to do glides and clamps. lol.

For what its worth I agree with Matt.

I throw a strap over rear bumper as well. Never had issues. I have on the other hand seen a friend roll his trailer and his sleds were clamped down hard. His sleds were ALL screwed up. I seen another trailer roll and we rode 3 out of 4 sleds that were in it that weekend.:jaw:

BTW, for ski runners we just cut up a bunch of bedliners and made ski runners for them. WAY cheaper than whats out there and works as well if not better. I have two trailers one with the manufactured ski runners and they buckle all the time to expansion and contraction. The other bedliners and works great. Also on the gate a old track works great to.

Our laws are different. Believe this.....Safety Stops can be held anywhere without reason......you can be issued a ticket for not securing your load in an enclosed trailer. Skis as well as rear of sled.......some officers will want a 4 point tie down. If i have my skis with Super clamp and one at the back I have been spared a ticket........but know some who didn't have any sleds secured.....it was $480 for 4 sleds.

Cheers

Good point Randy. DOT laws in the states require more than just one clamp/strap on any load over 10' in length. Any modern mountain sled is way beyond 10' in length and require a tie down on the front and an additional tie down in the rear also. Why spend over $10K on a sled and not tie it down baffles me.
