After reading Kimbro's thread about "why we ride", I think it would be appropriate to give a big thank you to my closest peeps. Those individuals that I would trust with my life and jump into any situation and they have proven it more than I care to say. Being here for a 3rd season, I have had my share of stucks, ooops and oh f....!!!! There are a few on this list that I have ridden with only a handful of times but there is an immediate level of trust that isn't easily explained.

I too feel the same way as I have only ridden two seasons out there (2800miles). I have never met such wonderful, respectful, honest, and trust worthy peeps. Utah is a new favorite in my book and this why I ride.

Ooo yah and helping me get my GOAT out of Iron Mine Creek last year.You guys know who you are. As you all know what I would say from that, "Only the good came out of that." This is my 4th riding season here in Utah. It's tough being the single lady and when I first moved here I couldn't wait for the snow to fly. Seeing the pictures, reading all the stories, not to mention the couple of times I had came out to ride with a handful of you guys, made me excited beyond words. Too not ride with these guys now that I am here, it tough. Someday...............maybe we will.

First, I have to say Thank You to Shain aka Product Tester, you let me hang with you for the first 2 years and I loved every ride, you are truly a sled freak, helpful and a blast to be around. I love riding with you. Thank you for showing me your back yard.

The friends I have made since then have been great and to all of you, Thank you! I have had a lot of laughs and have ended every ride with a ton of memories that will stay with me forever.

Good post Dan the Man! I'd make a list....but, it'd be too long and I'd forget somebody. I remember driving hundreds of miles with someone to go ride whose name I couldn't even remember....haha! Sledding is as much a part of my identity as anything else in my life. I often hear..."Ya, he's that physical therapist guy who sleds a lot!"....and I smile! My best friends in this life have come from sledding. My close peeps know who you are! I've ridden with many of you, and hope to be able to ride with all of you some day! For me, it used to be about the ride....however, anymore, it's about who I'm riding with that is more important!

Thanks to lots and lots of great people, from many states, and even a couple countries. But, mostly thanks to my homies in Utah. I've got your back!!!

I thought it might be difficult to "name" peeps when I have ridden with a lot of people as well. That being said, I did want to continue your point about "why we ride" and for me it was really about the trust, bond, and connection you make with certain people. you're right though, not easy to make a list
and not fear you might be excluding someone.

11 years ago I moved to Utah with no friends here......Well that didn't last long and funny thing is 99.9% of my friends here sled. Funnier thing is I met 80% of them on SW!! I remember meeting one dude (I won't mention names) at breakfast one time before the expo and when I was told his SW name I thought OH he is that DH who is allways talking chit onthe forums.....Funny thing is Freak ended up being a pretty cool cat!!! LMAO

I got a smaller list of peeps so I wont post....However, my small list are some serious GO TO guys!!! Im perty proud to call them my firends!!!

When I first left the military and moved to Utah I was pretty bummed by civilian life and how hard it was to meet and make friends....in civilian life everyone is caught up in their own thing and their own family (I'm guilty of this today) and in the military you were more or less forced to depend on your buddy so making friends was easy.... if you have ever served you know what I mean.... ANYWAY... thanks to sledding I have managed to make a lot of friends and am very thankful to the sport for that very reason.

Ment to put you and Marty (summitx1000) on that list as well. That's really why I wasn't certain whether to name or exclude names from that list. Let's get out this weekend!! Got a tribe of riders headed out on Friday. Should be "good times"
