Sunday road ride

I wasn't planning on riding due to lack of snow, but it was better than staying home. We went up to cottonwood to shake out the cobwebs. There is no snow worth trying to ride other than staying on the road or the tree trails. We spent some time praticing with the beacons also.

Found out why my sled felt so boggy on the bottom end and would only rurn 7500 rpm.

Had issues with the trail tank not fitting the stock cap, broken spring, and slidekicks not working with the new skid. I have a bunch of stuff to fix for when the real riding starts.

Wow Dave, your spring made it a whole season and then snapped? My first one made it about a week. (same spring SLP Green Yellow)

When Mine snapped I was also dealing with blown out TB boots, thought I had found the problem on the spring, then went to the 4M ride and could only pull about 4 lbs of boost. :(

That's not one of them fancy two piece springs? :eek:

Looks like I didn't miss much :(

Skibreeze don't you have some pic's of us riding Dizz's sled, it sure skipped across them rocks good.:beer;

Silly PP, look at the pics. 3/4 show no tracks in front of mine. :beer; They will attest to riding behind me, they were smelling my hyfax melting.:mad:

thats funny, you guys make the polaris ride in the back...too, huh?

silly dragons, picking up there rear..:eek:

Actually, that's just evolution at work. The smarter Polaris rider is allowing the Kitty Cats to have thier *glory* breaking trail on a day that's actually manageable for Cats since on a 3 foot pow day they'd be confined to existing Polaris tracks. PP you're a cat rider, you know what I'm talking about!
So Skibreeze is a nice guy, right?

Wrong. He's just letting those dumb felines uncover the land mines hidden in that 7 inches of snow.....good work Breeze!
