Sun Valley/ Baker/ Galena current conditons

Anyone been out riding that can give me a report of what it is looking like up that way.

Looking to make our annual trip the 16-19 of Feb. Wondering how the snow is stacking up up there?

Hey. It's ok. We haven't been up in our typical higher elevation areas because of breakdowns and such. It's lower than normal, lots of stuff under the snow that isn't normally there. But up higher I've heard it's better and what we've gotten into is better. Trying to find some a arms this week as I had a rock incident Sunday, hit one rock hard, bounced me over another one.... Which then started electrical problems and the thing just won't run now.

Hopefully we'll get some more pow. We could take you guys up into some better areas, that would probably be good and don't get any traffic. How's your sled holding up after your wreck?

All the areas around here need some snow, we've been hitting the higher areas at Baker, not much fresh snow left. There are a few spots we are now starting to get into, but we are tearing it up pretty fast. A little more snow over the hill, but it has been getting hit hard as well. Saturday the 18th is the Salmon River Snowmobile Club's fun ride. They are leaving from Stanley and heading to Stanley lake. It's a poker ride I believe.
Not sure where we are riding yet this upcoming weekend, I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, I'm on an 11 M8, we have a few Pro's in the group and a few Doo's. Say "hey" if you see us. Not sure what trucks we will be in yet.

Hey Lisa, Might be getting some snow tomorrow through Saturday night, possible 5-12 above 5500, most going over the hill again. Should have went out today, nice sunny day...I think we are going to Baker tomorrow to break in a new county sled (600 Pro). Where you you guys thinking of hitting? Sunday is still undecided where to go.

Sun Valley

Heading to sun valley this week. Can anyone give me some ideas of some good back country riding. Does anyone have a snow report from this weekend.

20" or more of new in the trinitys this weekend but it warmed up on sat and the snow got kinda wet but still good riding. prob got real warm today. should be good around stanley and sun valley. hit up skidoogirl for the best areas to ride.
