SummitSeeker Ice Scratcher install location without removing idlers

I was wondering if anyone had installed ice scratchers in the location on the pic below. I would like to keep the idlers on and not drill more holes than needed. I was thinking I could just drill one hole per ice scratcher and use the cut-out slot already in the skid. What do you think???
