How long is the drive from Palmer? Looked on the map and it looks like 5 hrs one way... Is this correct?

3-4 feet most places. more in others. I was up at around 6000' way back in to get to some nice bowls for hillclimbing and into the glacial morraine areas. Some guys i ran into up there showed me where there was an avalanche where they were riding yesterday

What were the temps like down there?

Zero in the parking lot, with wind. Warmer and no wind up high.. my guess is it was 15 degrees up at elevation but that is just a guess.
