Summit 670 widening kit?

I bought a 97 Summit that has a widening kit on it and I don't care for it. I am looking to get back to the original ski stance. What will I need to change it back to the original ski stance? Some stock rods and I think shocks as well, as all mine are all longer than stock? Not sure what they are called exactly, but there are 3 rods on each side, one of which is for the steering? And I think I need front shocks as well? Am I correct that all of these are longer than stock and I need to go back to stock length on all of them?

Anyone have these parts? Or interested in trading your stock for my longer parts. I was told the stance was widened by 4.5"

I posted the same thing for the same parts earlier this summer and didn`t get alot of answers, Mine had a mxz and possibly wider ski stance Measure center spindle left to right and see what you have now stock Summit ski stance is like 37-38 inchs I think the mxz is like 41 1/2 -42 inchs which is what mine was I just cut 2 1/5 inchs out of the supension rods and welded them back together wit my wirefeed . My suspension rods work great but I didn`t get the tierod on one side drilled correctly (was off center) so have to find different ones. I`m just going to make new ones out of mild steel tubing and weld the correct nuts to the end of the tubing and use a jam nut also.

It seems that its easier to come across the wider mxz suspension component see them on ebay alot and sometimes see the ones for a Summit you will be looking for ones for a 97-99 if you didn`t already know that.

Thanks for the info. Hey what did it take to get that Rev seat on your sled? I sure would like to have a taller seat.

No problem . I`m going to post a thread here soon showing how I did the rev seat, Cool part is its on the S chassis tank now a zx tank like other threads I have read, those look sweet but was easier to me to do. Lets see a pic of your sled. pics posts are always cool.

I've got a spare set of stock Summit radius rods and steering arms if you are interested. Went to MXz rods when I put longer shocks on my 670.

ive got a couple zx chassis gas tanks if you choose to go to a rev seat. it looks like a good fit on that seat mod, im sure you could figure out how to make it work pretty easily.

Thanks to Snowesters Zachmandu and richierich I've gotten new parts and set my ski stance back to stock, looking forwarder to being a little tippier this year.

Anyone interested in widening their stance? I have all the rods and shocks needed to widen it by about 4.5"
