summit 1000 15 wide chain conversion

I was wondering if anyone had the part number for the 15 wide summit 1000 chain. I was wanting to run 19 top and 49 bottom. The dealership acts like they cannot get one because team doesn't make one long enough. I think i need an 86 link. I think some of the 1000's came with a 15 wide but i am not sure which ones. Any help would be great. I am sitting at 1800 miles waiting for it to blow!!!
Thanks

I do believe all the 1000's came with the 15 wide as well as some of the 07 800's. What year 1K do you have? Look it up on BRP's website, all years and models are listed for all the parts.

I have the 05 and it has the 13 wide. The part numbers are different from 05 to 07 but it doesnt have a description so i am not sure. I just dont want to give them a part number and special order the wrong part.

If they are looking for Team stuff then they are trying to sell you hyvo.

do some searching on here... but I'm pretty sure the 07 chain is the 15 wide your looking for, on that note I'm of the thought that unless your looking to run a crazy small top gear the 13 W works fine, just keep good lube in the case and the chain adjusted and it will work fine.

Just keep your top gear 21T or higher, 21 / 50 is pretty close to same final ratio as a 19 / 48, the radius is way smaller on a 19t vs a 21t.

I just change the fluid in my 1000 twice a season so I can check everything out and the adjustment is much easier with the cover off.

I tried the 07 and they still say it is the 13 wide. I will probably just stick with the 13 and go overkill on the maintainance. I just have to change the old one out so i dont get stranded. I figure 2000 miles is not that bad. Had them order a 19 top with the factory bottom. The top is the only gear that appears to be wearing out.
Thanks for the help everyone.

The 19t is what is causing the wear, it's too small of a diameter, you are eating HP as well small diameter = increased rolling resistance.

Go to a 21T the low end grunt of that big 1000 will thank you, trust me. I ran 19t for two years and this year swaped up to a 21t and the sled has never pulled so hard... even out of the whole.
