Well Treeboss and I headed up Tony Grove yesterday. It was an awesome day, t-shirts and shorts, sleds, lots of snow, and not a cloud in the sky. Great day until Drew tagged a big a$$ rock.. Spring snow is FAST!!! I took A LOT of pictures.. Sorry so many, this isn't even half of them..

Ouch that looks bad Drew. Now what?

I'm going to get the hi-lift strap the sled onto the trailer and bend it back as close to "orginal" as I can, maybe get some aluminum and brace it up a little:face-icon-small-hap

How do you explain to the insurance who just totaled it out 3 weeks ago that you got it fixed and a week later.....you do it again:face-icon-small-dis

Great pics.

Note to self: Don't loan anything to Drew. LOL

Ya the zip ties took the rock like a champ:face-icon-small-win I firmly believe in ski brakes and will never spring ride without them again:second:

I'm pretty sure your sled must hate you drew

LMAO, you know I have to give it to the design of the Pro, because I feel like there should actually be more damage then what there is, had this been my XP it would have been a pretzel at the bottom of the hill.

I would expect a tunnel to bend after going a$$ over to kettle like that on hard snow, the rails are slightly bent and I'm going to try and get them straight as well.

Anyone have rails off a Pro they want to sell??:face-icon-small-sho

All in all it was a great ride and the important thing is that I'm still walking and was able to come home to my wife and little boy, it's just a damn sled and I will take a wreck with me walking away any day:D

I do feel like I got hit by a Mack truck yesterday and today but the soreness is going away finally.

There's nothing like a sled that is not slowing down and you see the rock coming and you know your going to hit it and hit it hard. After impact it luckily through me to the right and out of the path of the sled that was making quite the scene as it tumbled down the hill. I was scrambling like a bull rider does when he's trying to get out of the way of a bull :)

I've never seen anyone wreck that hard in person... I'm really glad he's okay, it could (and looked) very bad. The more amazing thing is that his sled is only hurt that bad. Just a couple of scrapes on the bulk head when his engine should have been up by the handle bars.. I did have my helmet cam on.. But I gave him some space before starting down the hill myslef, so he was kind of far away. Long distances and a wide angle lens doesn't make for a very good combo.. But here it is anyway..

Nice Pic's for sure..... TGitt, what happened to Texas??

Could'nt handle the heat..:face-icon-small-win

Thanks! About Texas.. It's a long story, but I got a job offer here, and it wasn't going as well as everyone had hoped, so I'm home. But at least this way I can do some summer sledding!!! :D
