Summer sled hot weather testing

Ran over to Beverly last Friday and spent some time in the sand and hot weather with the latest FTX Fantom summer sled.Very pleased with the results-this thing really handles well and is way more stable than a quad or utv at speed(not to mention way faster!)Electric start,reverse,turbo four stroke.I won't bring up hill climbing ability(we all know the result of that contest). We should have had a ribbed front tire as it did have a little push in the corners-my only complaint.I'll get some vid up on youtube soon.

That thing is WAY cool!!!

When you gonna bring one of your sleds over to do the Water X up at Ione!! It's quite the scene and MUCH cooler than riding on the sand... Well, actually if all goes well you stay pretty warm since you stay on TOP of the water!! That's if all goes well though....

Next year... I want to get a whole GANG of you westsiders over here for it!

If Fast Trax donates a turbo I'll double Snowbryd's wife in our bikini's!! hehehehe.. Kiddin, I couldn't do it on someone else's sled!

I know, we really need to get over there...it always seems to hit on a day we've got something else going and I end up missing it. I hear it is always a good time! Haven't been to a watercross in four years or more I think.

The summer sled is alot more fun than my lame short videos show...I need some more work on my video skills! It runs through the bumps at higher speeds with way more stability than a quad, climbs dirt/sand hills that summer toys can't even touch, skips water, rallies swamps and mud, halls heinie on the asphalt and all with a huge fuel range(compared to quads/bikes/utv's) what more could you want? The best part is we build it as a bolt on kit-when you are ready for snow, it all unbolts and you put your ski's back on and the rear cooler back in and hit the snow!
If you can't tell...we're pretty proud of the way this one came out!

As far as that last sentence...I'm going to keep my mouth shut!(out of respect for you and Mrs. Snowbyrd!)

Cool! The first time I saw this I thought it would be something to see in the sand. I must say, it shows your dedication, and definitely a step "out of the box". Agree with 4Z all the way! When I took it for a spin it felt like it was meant to be!
