Summer Fun at Tampico!

Well it's been 3 weeks now since we had our last sled ride of the season and we've given the last bit of snow some time to fade before venturing up to Tampico for some fun once again!

We still got to play in the snow, but this time with tires instead of tracks!

Super bowl is pretty well done, lol

Coming down the trail on the north side of the super bowl was fun too....

Not forest service.... Tampico /Ahtanum area is DNR and the Green Dot system - they allow off highway vehicles (atvs/etc) on any road or designated trail marked with a green dot at the beginning. I've been told that the Forest circus would lynch you if they caught you on one of their roads that isn't a designated jeep trail.

Nope, I haven't had any intentions of selling this one since I got it! I sold the sport quad I had before this right after I bought this one... but that was back in 2009! lol

We went up again today and HOLY COW!!!! The only snow that's left is what's in the super bowl and the 2 large drifts we were playing on last week - which I predict will be gone in another 2-3 days.... I can't believe how fast these drifts melted.....

Ya familiar with green dot. Wasn't sure if that's what you were riding on. It's pretty irritating how whacked out our state is when it comes to ATV's. The FS claim's it's not their rule but the state of WA. Think of the revenue stream the state could get if they were like AZ and let ATV's be licensed and driven on the roads. All roads.

Well we've gone up a few more times over the last month and done some exploring on the lesser traveled jeep trails and other green-dot multiple use trails. There's some pretty cool terrain to explore when you just start following the tracks!
