looking for some ideas as to where to stay in area. trying to set up a sledding trip. guide service would be good also. never have been in this part of WY. Thanks

I've stay at a few places there, Mountain meadow cabins is good place, and I stayed a Rendezous Lodge last year and it was a pretty nice place to say. I wouldn't recommend Snowy Mountain Lodge though.

Why not Snowy Mt Lodge, just curious, I've been there a few times and always stayed in the cabins.

The Lodging choices depend greatly on if you are willing to trailer your sleds 4 miles each day to the parking area, or if you want to ride from your doorstep. The 2 main areas to stay are Centennial, and Albany. The parking area above Centennial can be very busy on weekends if you get up the hill after 9. Staying in or above Centennial will put you the closest to the open off trail areas without much if any trail riding. If you are willing to say in town (centennial), I would look at The Mountain View, and Winter Creek Cabins. I would definately favor riding out of the Centennial side over the Albany side.

When are you heading out?
