Stupid Question - RSI Race Handlebars

Hey I just received my bars from RSI, Nice bars! But I ordered the bent race bars that have the hook on the end of the bars. I got them out of the box and one hook in longer than the other by a significant amount. Any idea why? I thought it was a manufacturing error but the website shows it like that.

Take a look, it's the race bend.

I am building a turbo Nytro and don't want uneven bars. Thought you guys might be able to tell me why they are like this. I called there many times but nobody is calling me back. emailed as well.. I might have to cut the ends off and really don't want to..

most snocross bars are like this, just is how people preffer it on the track, im not sure of the specifick reason but all snocross sled i have ownded with these style bars are like this.

Yep, just the way they are. Something to do with being able to move your left hand out farther for cornering, but your right hand has to be able to reach the throttle so less need for length on the right side....just a bend to help keep your hand from slipping.

Did you get the CF bars or ??

This is the reason I just picked up a set of Pro Taper bars for mine. I have the 440 Race bars on the sled when I got it but hate that uneven look to them. So I ordered a set of the Pro Taper SE's and then I'm going to put the assault Bar ends/hooks on mine As I don't need or want the 45 degree or 90* bar ends.

From Flat tracks to Sno-X, most(if not all) circuits run their tracks with more lefthanders. I bought the same bars but trimmed the left side a bit to accomodate my grips and the feel I was after. All my sno-X sleds had the same bend.
Notice that the bend from left to right is not the same so no amount of cutting will make them look equal. The left side has more of an angle to it.
