Stupid Fork Question

Considering getting forks revalved. Was thinking on finding a pair of used KTM forks (300xc) to do the valving on. Cannot find a pair up here.

Is there any reason that I couldn't use a set of Japanese bike forks (non-air)? Found a few sets for sale on Kijiji. If they were 48mm should work?


We never said it was easy, just that it looked cool.

plenty of used ktm forks on ebay

with jap forks you might have to redrill your spindle ... or get different fit kit parts

check the fit kit guide and cross reference the bike and front end parts
