does any1 have a trick to get a stuck stator off the crank of a 2005 700

Assuming you mean the flywheel put your puller on there and apply a little heat to the shaft area, careful not too over heat and melt wires etc...it will pop off.

is the stator is attached to the crank?

The sator is bolted to the cases.

That would be the rotor or flywheel on the taper of the crank.Bolt on puller apply lots of pressure and apply some heat to center of rotor trying not to heat shaft and LIGHTLY tap on puller center bolt
