Strongest Nytro tunnel

So who makes the strongest tunnel for a Nytro? I'm bending my Better Boards(which i freakin love) and getting cracks in the edges, a few more rides and the traction ridges will be pointing down. I need a tunnel that will hold up to repeated heavy abuse, mostly jumping but rollovers too. I don't care about weight loss, I just want strength. i don't want it to fold up if it gets rolled.

CR? VE? Fabcraft? other?

My CR racing tunnel is strong. Those VE tunnels look pretty skookem to but I've never really checked them out up close.
I tell you, installing that CR tunnel was really quite fun. Every thing just lines up so fricken great its unreal! I couldn't believe the craftmanship that goes into those things. .......and a bonus you get to toss that rad, its now soooooo much cleaner under the hood and easier to get at ****.

I fully agree with you guys that CR makes a whicked tunnell, but unfortunatly mine seems to be flexing to much on the running boards at the rear suspension mount cuz now all my powder coat is flaking off, not real happy about it to say the least sled is starting to look like a beater already only 100 km on it, but i have yet to talk to CR to see what he will do about it. IMO they are the nicest tunnel out there.

If your looking for something to hold up to roll overs etc i dont think any tunnel builder will warrant that kind of abuse, but if you want a beefed up one i would make it out of 6061 .080 rather than .065, also i would add tunnel braces if you want it bomb proof.

Dlux, is your tunnel semi transparent clear coat blue or red ?

That is what I would do if you want it bullet proof. If chad is willing to make it out of thicker sheet goods I would order it that way!! I always bend the tunnel boards from repeated pounding through the bumps on the way up the hill. I have one of VE's new boondocker tunnels on my Apex and it is holding up well other than the bent up foot traction pieces are already getting distorted and cupping. If I had him build it again I would have him make these lower profile so they don't bend as much. By the end of the year their going to look like Hell!! I have always liked the look of Chad's tunnels. Their similar to my tunnel on my M&M Assault that Dr. John built. Very clean simple look with no extra baggage.

I know they had a bad batch of powder-coatings mine had to be sent back fortunatly before it was installed and mine was black krinkle

i bent my stockapex tunnel rails out,so when i got chad to build my tunnel i made a point of telling him to make it never bend again,he reinforced in under neath blue candy transparent,2 years now no bending or flaking,awesome job!!!

Darko, mine is the transparent blue, has there been a problem with the transperent colors? My apex is trans red it its been fine and i've ridden it way more!
