I don't think the OP meant haha funny, I think he meant Feax Paux funny (dude, my spelling sucks) in the sense that many comedians have talked about it, many people have thought about it (albeit for a very short time, and not seriously) and to read an article about someone who actually did it is sort of an AHA! moment for some people.

I could be completely wrong, maybe the guy laughs at child abuse....but I doubt it.

I really hate to say it but it sounds like you have an issue with kids if that's all it takes to get your blood boiling.
If I were you I'd stop dating women with Children.
I know they're a little bit easier to find since they are actively looking for a man for their child to learn from or at the very least they could be looking for support while they're trying to raise their child alone.

maybe your right.. i have never had a girlfriend with a kid before.. its a little difficult to get used to.. he has "zero" respect for his mother or any other adult, which im sure is the parents fault.. as i said in my post, i dont even try to reprimand the kid when hes doing something that is clearly not acceptable (not just to me but, would be unacceptable to anyone).. so, no, i havent slapped any kids....

I was raised "by hand" and so are my kids, haven't had to spank them in years because they know I will.

and that's where it ends. There is no "or else", & the kids know it. These parents

I do have a serious question to those who say NOBODY touches my kid but me.
What about teachers?
In jr high, a paddle hung in the principals office that read "Board of Education" and that paddle got used.
Had a teacher that would thump us on the head with his class ring (and it hurt!).
Had a teacher put me up against the lockers.
Pastor slapped me in the back of the head.

Everything was deserved & taught me RESPECT (in a damned hurry!)

And I sure never thought of going home & telling my parents, because I would get it again!

My point is that those days are gone because of parents that think nobody
better not touch their precious little angels.....and that is bullfreakingchit!

I've been beat by teachers, principles and the like. It doesn't work, the teacher student bond is broken or never even created, you no longer try to please the teacher. Did you try to please your teachers? I sure didn't, couldn't give two chits about what they thought, if I could get away with it I would. I had one teacher beat me then he'd get my dad to beat me as well, even when I did nothing wrong. I don't blame my father its just the way it was, get in trouble in school you got double at home.

*IF* my kids ever misbehave at school then the problem will be corrected with parental involvement. So far the teachers have all been great and the kids eager to please. Small town schools are great that way. I've never had any problems with the kids in school.

I would bet none of us on here would actually slap a strangers child..............
but, I bet most of us have thought it many, many times!

If you keep your own kids under control, nobody else will feel the need to do so.
I see far too little dicipline these days. We've become a pussified society of "time outs" and
other tactics which yeild no behavior results.

I know I make it sound like I was beat as a kid, I wasn't, but I was certainly
spanked, and I should've received several more than what did.

We may have to agree to disagree on this one.
Many kids (not all, because everyone's wired differently) but many kids will go through their stage of "pushing their luck" just to see what they can & cannot get away with.
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a form of self expression & individualism, and is very healthy in their journey to becoming a self assertive individual.
But these episodes of assertive behavior will most certainly NOT occur when the disciplinary parent is present.
That is when the children NEED a teacher who will reign them in a bit by whatever method is appropriate for that particular child, and for some children that includes corporal punishment.

This next statement will offend a few of you, but I gotta say it...
To assume your kids will never mis-behave when you are not present is extremely naive.

Do you think this asswipe would have even approched if the dad had been there, he!! no! I would have gone mideaval on the guy.
