Straight edge razors?

Im thinking of switching, any one use one? Feedback please. Electrics don't work worth a crap on me and the disposables are getting spendy.

cheapest bic single blade disposables (like $3 for 12 of em..) you can find and edge GEL... no shaving cream.. GOTTA GET THE GEL!!!

2 or 3 blade bullchit ones get all jammed with hair and they cost too much..

Thats looks like a lot of work. There used to be a douoble blade that had a little push button to clean it with, it worked great. Now I just wack em on the shower wall every couple of strokes.

Don't know about the straight razor. I think if you could really learn to be froficient at it it would be the way to go. Friends mom used to cut our hair military style with a straight blade. So long as you don't slice yourself it seems the way to go.

used a straight edge for years and have switched to a mach3--each blade set lasts about 3 weeks--4 to a pack

My back-up is electric for days that I'm late for work. Elsewise, my Gillette sensorexcel works great.
