I have strayed and had to get myslef unstuck, its just a lot more work, I dont think I would go on day trip by myself but if I was staying at a cabin I would go on a solo ride.

just amazed of how some people can venture into the back country and get them selves into an easily resolvable situatation, over think it into a all day digging project. just trying to make people more confident in them selves because if i can do it you probably can too.

just a general snowmobiling story anyway, what did you do this weekend? i was out riding and thought people would like to hear and see some pics? guess i could just sit here doing nothing.

more like not taking risks when alone. and making better decisions of my own abilities.
im impressed with the amount of items people pack with them like they are going camping for a month when their only 5 miles from the truck.
So let me see if I get the point of this thread.
You were out being awesome...
and ran across some guys who got themselves stuck...
and were in the process of executing their plan for getting unstuck...
Granted, their plan involved a godawful load of work that could otherwise be avoided with improved riding skills, BUT they didn't call 911 or S&R. They were gutting out what they deemed to be their own problem...
and you made a few passes to showcase your awesomeness...
and to show these guys how much, evidently, they suck...
and you even stopped to take pics...
and post them here...
to remind us of how awesome you are...in case we forgot...or didn't know...or don't care.
Wouldn't have been easier and (dare I say it?) awesomer to just hop on their machine and un-stuck it for them? Maybe share some pointers on riding technique? You know...help a brother out.

Not really sure why you feel the need to brag about being stupid. No one should ride alone, ever, especially in the back country. Even if you don't get stuck, get caught in an avalanche, or injure yourself somehow, who's to say your sled won't break down? Than you're stuck in the middle of no where by yourself with no way out, and no survival gear? Just seems like lots of unnecessary risk IMO.
Dang, next season I hope i'm as B.A. status and you...
