There were two sleds and a trailer stolen from Peterbilt of Sioux Falls last evening. 2005 700 RMK with 1700 miles, red and black. 2010 XP black and blue, 900 miles. 2002 sledbed 8.5X 10 tilt bed trailer. If anyone has any info please contact myself, Kyle @ Peterbilt of Sioux Falls at 605-338-0040, and the police. I'll try to get some pic's from the owner. Sad part is the guy selling the XP got crushed in an excavator accident last year and doesn't think he'll be able to ride again. Any help would be great, Thank you.

That sucks, I'll be on the lookout. Have you said anything to the dealerships around here?

Also, isn't there a big fence with barbed wire around the perimeter? How did they get it out?(if you don't mind me asking)

The gates were locked when the night guys left last night. They're suspecting someone pulled them out when the gates were still open after it got dark.

I'll keep a lookout in Iowa. If I find them I'll let you know...right after I take them bastages out back to the woodshed myself.

stolen sleds

I will keep an eye out here in eastern Idaho, craigs,KSL etc. if anyone is dumb enough to post them,we have a wayyyy big market here for cheap sleds with no paper, ski bums. CHD

Hey Duane, the police said they would be going on NCIC, the trailer plate no is T567834. I'll send the rest of the info to you.

By being placed on the NCIC network if any officer nation wide run the VIN or license no. it will come back as stolen. Do the sleds have any license on them? If not they will stand out over other sleds. It is not uncommon to run across a sled with no visable license on it. After the operator tells me the license is at home the first thing I do is run the VIN. When the sleds are recovered be sure to contact Police so they cam be taken off NCIC. It can be embarracing to be stopped and have to explain the stolen snowmobile you are riding is yours. I have seen that before. Also if I find the VIN had been ground off that is a felony to possess and will immediately confinscate the sled. I have had to do that also in the past.

I work at a computer shop just down the road from there and saw them sitting there a few weeks ago. I will keep my eye out of them while traveling.

That takes some balls.:face-icon-small-fro I saw them there the other day and thought they looked like nice sleds.

I am suprised with the dollar amount of equipment they have sitting out there, that they dont have a camera. Or someone up the street has one that picks up the street.
