Last night, Septemeber 4, 2010 between 10:30 and Midnight my son, Taylor Dyess had a 2006 Yamaha YZ250 stolen out of the back of my wife's truck right in front of our house. We were actually awake in the living room watching TV. We didn't hear anything and our dogs didn't bark either which is strange and we did have house lights and porch lights on, but that didn't seem to stop them! What is really strange is whoever this low lifes are they just took my son's bike and left another 2006 Yamaha YZ250, but stole a race fuel can. We did find the race can about a block from our house up against a house fence in some bushes. So we think whoever these jerks are, they must of been on foot. But why steal one bike and a gas can, but leave the other bike??? If anyone can help and has seen or know where Taylor's bike is please call our sheriff's department at 307-367-4378 or call me at 307-231-1974. We don't have the money to replace the bike right now, but it is so very IMPORTANT to Taylor's training for the upcoming snocross season so if anyone knows anything please call!! Thanks everyone! It has custom graphics and sponsors stickers along with blue anodized engine parts, footpegs and shifter.
