Had my lower ball joints and lower bushings replaced again warranty and when I check the front end the top a-arm moves all over the place. Mostly moves at the most forward junction between the sub frame and a arm.

I was told the top bushings are probably shot. However when I had it in for check up they said it was fine and would only cover the lowers because of the service bulletin.

Any way picked up 4 new "plastic" bushings for the upper a arms and hope that takes out some of the slack. The parts person gave me some line about how they use plastic ones so that it will wear faster there and not ruin the a arm (like a wear marker/indicator). What a crock. Good news is they are only about 3$ a piece.

Lastly is there a better bushing kit for the front end or are we stuck with buying an aftermarket set up. On my 3rd set of ball joints and bushings in 3000km.

I put the oilite bushings in when my sled was new and they are still as tight as they were on day 1. For $95, you can't go wrong.

there good stuff!. i messed up intalling one last year so i put normal bushings in one A arm . Its the only one with any play at all after 2500 km :D

I put oil lites in as soon as they came out and the front end is still tight. Great product.

The top oem ones where 9$ for all 4. At the time I did not know about the oilites so I just put the gay plastic ones in tonight and when they where then I will put a decent set in.

Plastic bushings........what where they thinking?
