stock head with boost

if i take twenty thousenths out of the stock head to lower compressoin can the stock head work? i was told it would, but i was also told it would flex too muck and i need a more ridgid billet head
any input on this would be great

the stock head will work fine. Depending on the boost you will be running you may not need to machine the head at all
