Stock grip warmers are lame. Good replacements?

have heard you can fill the ends of the bars with spray foam. this is supposed to make the stockers work 10 times better, don't ever use mine or i might try it!!!

Yep it works great. It closes the holes in the grips that you can get air flow through the bars from different air pressure passing the end of the bars. IT helps when getting the grip off latter too. You can hit the center of the grip with compressed air (After the foam is dry) and the grip with come right off.

Cheers Don.

Insulating foam for doors and windows etc. but get the "low-expansion" stuff the normal stuff can get out of hand. Don't fill the bars completely it'll expand to fill so only fill bout 3/4 full. Make sure that you cover everything around 'cause once this crap touches something it's there for good.

what he said, put a rag or something to catch excess wherever there is a hole in the bars and leave the rags there overnight the stuff seemed to expand for a while. i dont know if the newer bars have it but in the older 05-06 bars there is a hole in the middle where the clamp is that we almost didnt catch.

I used foam called "great stuff" i think its like $4 or $5 bucks a can and one can will do a few sleds. we did it to 3 different m7s and i dont know if i'd say they are 10X warmer but they are quite a bit warmer and its cheaper than new elements
