Stock Exhaust Turnout or Elbow

I recently bought a 2011 XTX and I want to mount a bag on the extended tunnel. Where can I buy an elbow for the exhaust to re-direct it out the side? Would this need to be welded on? hose-clamp? what diameter pipe?

yes, yamaha sells one that works good. its in the yamaha accessory book

When I go to Yamaha's site and look at accessories, all that they have is the this kit http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/a...ail/5/494/2018/15922/all/1/8665/0/detail.aspx with a deflector shield. Is this something that my local exhaust shop will have (or can make) or is it something that I should just buy from Yamaha. I'm trying to save a little money.

My dealer had quite a few of those turnouts in stock. But they are around $50, which I think is rather spendy.

I just bought mine from Yamaha, it fits well and is coated so no rust. I bought a Skins bag and the two work fine togeather. I moved the tail light so I picked up some extra room.

I bought a 45* muffler tip from checker, cut it, painted it and riveted it on. Cost $7.

I used some silicon elbows off ebay. Had one hose clamp loosen in two seasons
due to the heat. No other problems, I think they were 25.00 or so shipped.
Blue to match the sled as well.
