Stock 250sx stator enough??

Hey, doing a budget build 2 stroke timbersled build to get my feet wet in this snowbike world. If I like it I'll get a more suited bike for it. But until then..
I'm having a hard time finding out if my stock 2013 Ktm 250sx stator will be able to run the Ktm carb heater? No solid answers. I'm trying to avoid changing the stator /stator and flywheel. I found one guy said it creates 40 watts and the heater draws 20 watts. Anyone try this? I plan on running a carb jacket and a big snow sheild out front as well. I'm not planning on running a head light or hand warmers so that's not a worry.

Don't waste your time with the KTM carb heater its a POS and does nothing. I think I may still have one kicking around if you want to waste some money. LOL

I ran the KTM carb heater and carb jacket on my 300xcw.. never had any freezing issues (mind you it's not that cold here!)

Also ran light and grip heaters ... but I think xcw bikes have a 100w stator

budge build

My spare snowbike is a yz250 2 stroke............so more prone to icing.

As a budge build cheap setup I bought a Yamaha raptor thermostat off e bay for $9 and added a return line like a thermobob, then later took that return line and ran it through 3/8 copper pipe with a turn around the bell of my carb / worked on Keihin and now Lectron, no more icing.........none nada. Added a inline valve cause it gets toooo hot in spring time. I doesn't take much hot water transfer at the carb to go way past what any electric setup can produce. Deep snow side covers and some copper tube and crude thermostat..........no problem, less than $20.

Sweet thanks guys, was going to do the copper idea but now my brother has stepped up and is helping me make a aluminum one line avid! ?? pumped. Next is modding the stock pegs and a big skid plate/snow deflector. Going to make it go infront of the pipe to keep the snow off and temps up, good idea? Haven't seen any like that yet.
