Ok, this is for the guys out there running the STM exhaust valves. Cleaned the valves the the other day and I am having a hell of a time getting the large bellow spring back on. It is a major pain!!! Any of you guys found a good way to get that damn thing back on. Are you putting it in the aluminum housing then putting it on or are you putting it on out side the housing and then putting it in the housing? Called STM today and they said that when the assemble them they have a tool they use when they assemble them there. Said the best thing to do was find something with a little larger circumference than the bellow assembly and slide the spring off of it and on to the bellow. Any other suggestions? Can't remember how I got them on the last time I cleaned them, and haven't had to clean them in several years using lengend oil.
