still blowing belts

I put the the tcl delete on my 1100 turbo and still only getting 100 miles per belt. Any help on fixing the belt problem would be a great help. Thinking about turning boost down to stock levels but what fun would that be.

When you installed the TCL delete how did you set your center to center? Also, how did you check and set your parallelism? What helix are you running? What year is the sled?

The sled is a 2012, After I put the tcl delete on I took it to the dealership to have all that checked. It has the stock helix and about 88 gram weights. How would you suggest checking all the allinements , and what helix do you suggest using.

The thing about the TCL delete is it will hold the clutches wherever you set them. If they are set wrong then it holds them wrong.

The best way I have found to check is the OSP tool. It is CRITICAL that the center to center is 11.5 and the parallelism is correct.

2012 and 2013 sleds have junk bushings in the helix. Get a 2014 helix bushing for better heat dissipation.

Yes. It should be a black plastic colored bushing instead of a bronze, metal looking bushing.

I'd look at maybe gearing down also I've done all the alignment stuff minus the tcl delete. Cat warrantied mine and the put in a seven tooth driver and primary weights and spring and helix and spring in secondary... Didn't cost me a dime. I'll have more to say about if it worked after this weekend.

update

well so far so good on mine after the gearing down haven't blown a belt yet. With mine I got my driver changed out but id recommend the hyvo kit 19-50. since the chain is the weak link anyways. otherwise the Artic Cat kit that was installed in mine is for a 2014 is part number 0637-466. this kit includes yellow/green drive spring, Brown driven spring, 7 tooth 3.0 pitch drive assembly, 76.1 gram weights, and 38 degree helix. They were saying that these kits were going to be at a discounted price, but if you bi**h enough I think they might cover it. Anyways this has worked for my sled:amen:

Agreed-
My 2013 with the Stage 2 ( no TCL deleate) but new bushings in the motor mounts- and geared down to 19-50 really helped- with the larger stronger jackshaft from EVO
I am running the team secondary with a EVO ST ( super tune) helix- and MDS weights in the primary for my 8,500' elevation.

I was going through belts (generally blow a belt) after a full pull up a shute and on the flat after a run WOT.
After complete parrallel adjustment- and the correct CTC ( using the OSP tool - a MUST) the belts are lasting- but I am running the EVO belts also- and did blow one of them.......running down the trail pretty aggressively.
Correct belt deflection makes a huge difference to ensure that you are not bottoming the belt in the secondary before the full upshift on the primary- this will pull the belt in a zillion parts....
Alignment- Parrallel- CTC - and deflection all need to be considered... as Racin station ( Eric pointed out)
IMHO it is working for me and 3 others I have helped recently. Still montering the CTC and alignment-offset and full Parallel ..it is staying put..:) This is why the OSP tool comes in soooo very handy. Almost a piece of mind anymore.....

Good to hear

Glad to hear you're back on the snow Joe - hope I managed to help a bit. The 1100T is a bit like having a trophy wife (high maintenance & expensive, but well worth it lol). Mine has been flawless with additions of EVO power and some time well spent anchoring the motor so it stays put under load - with support from some great vendors (EVO, JustBoostIt, C3, and Racin Station) - you guys are awesome.
