Stiff thhrottle on xp

Who has an idea on making the throttle a lighter on the xp, I tried to remove the clutch to get to the carbs and gave up on that nightmare for now. Does the airbox remove easily or rather reinstall easily to remove springs from the carbs?

air box has 2 little clips--10 seconds to remove

sweet I will pull them right now, I haven't even tried to pull the air box yet that was in the plans for this week so i could add some flow rights between the tank and the box.

If you ever figure out an easy throttle pull let us all know. Thumb takes a beating, especially early in the season!

some of the oil pump cables were zip tied to the frame to tightly, makes the throttle stiff and increases oil consumption because the pump does not return fast enough. remove the can, take of the plastic shroud between the can and the engine. the oil cable is in the wire loom, find the zip tie and cut it off. install a new zip tie loosly to reduce binding.
