I believe there was a thread about this a while ago, but I thought I would share this problem again. I have a 09 M1000 and it has had a slight bog in it since new, took it to the dealer the other day and found that the oil pump was sticking over 90% of the time. It did not matter if you slowly pressed the throttle or hit the throttle hard, the pump would stick between 1/3 and 1/2 way open when throttle was back in neutral position.
New oil pump on the way, we will see if this new pump makes a difference. If not I may just go to pre-mix.
Once again just thought I would share this with some of you guys that are having a bogging issue, or sleds using too much oil.
