Steering post support

I'm with you! I am still waiting as well.

I thought they were supposed to ready in the July-August time frame?

It is out, however they dont have it on their website yet. Seems as though

all the newest items are not up yet. Their web guy must be the slowest ever:(

I was searching around the other day and found some BDX on the

Speedwerx site. The st. post support is there, with a pic I believe. Click on

the link to download the 2010 snow catolog. Im sure other BDX vendors

could get it as well. Cheers-

Excellent! Thank you!

I can't seem to get the BDX accessories button to work on the Speedwerx site? Hum?

I thought there were two items BDX was going to release pertaining to the VSB bars? I just can't seem to remember what the second one was right now?

You have to download their 2010 catalouge and go to page 38. Was the other item your thinking of by chance the cromoly adj. steering post that they are manufactuing?

Installed mine yesterday, and it works well. Larger surface contact with the steeringpost equals much less "play".

I just got mine installed today. Seems to be much better, a lot less play and more strength when you're really pulling on the bars.

i don´t see a great advantage whit that.
you can always thight the stock support to minimize play. but the major play in the -09 stearing post is in the adjusteble parts at the top.

^^

I do see your agrument, but the BDX unit is signifiantly larger than stock. I think people will still bend and break posts, but this should help reduce the chance.

I think SLP has the very same item for $54.95.

I'll give this support a try and hope for a taller AMP riser.

If that doesn't work to my satisfaction, I guess I'll buy a taller steering post and use the support to keep it solid.
