Steamboat Lake???

Anyone been up there lately???? Making a trip out either to RE, Snowys, or even thought Steamboat Lake.... Trip is planned the 14th-18th (Jan.) If RE stay in Walden or Kremmling??? We have stayed in both b/f just debated if trailering to MC from Walden or from Kremmling to one of the lots along Hwy. 40.....just the wife and I so nothing real special required.....

Rode steamboat lake north yesterday. It has a lot less snow than the ears/buff pass. I have not been to the snowies so I have no idea what it is like there. I am guessing windy. We are supposed to get some new snow this week.

I rode from Columbine to the Wyoming state line on 12/27 and 12/28 and it was decent. Good coverage but it will be pretty tracked up by now.

We went up Farwell Mtn last Friday and dropped down the drainages into Silver City Meadows and it was decent.

On Saturday and Sunday we went towards Sand Mtn and had some good snow. The base is starting to setup so we just need more new snow. Some sun would also be nice on the weekends.

Yeah, it needs to snow and be terrible weather during the week to keep peeps in their offices instead of tracking up all the snow. It would be nice to arrive at the hill Saturday morning and actually be able to get some tracks in.

From the weather report I just heard on the news we are supposed to get more snow by the weekend!
