Been going to togwotee the last 5-6 years thinking about heading to the steamboat area wondering about lodging. We like to trailer to the door and ride from the door and cook our own meals. Been looking at hahns peak roadhouse any good riding up that way?

Hard to find ride from the door in the steamboat area. Maybe check out Grand Lake, not far from Steamboat area. They keep Main St snow packed in the winter for snowmobiles. Many places to stay and ride from the door. Found a sweet house for rent last year using VRBO. Full kitchen, multiple bedrooms and baths, ride from the door. Sounds like what you're looking for. Hope it helps.

We stayed there a few years back and liked it a lot. I believe there are at least two places that have what you are looking for, and Hahn's Peak Roadhouse is one of them. At least it was back then.

Rabbit Ears is one of my favorite places to ride tho. We always stay in Steamboat, about a 20 minute drive. The town of Steamboat is awesome. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and nightlife. A few dealers if you need parts/service. Sleeping at a lower elevation is a bonus in my mind too! The Steamboat Hotel is cheap but nice and has a bus stop in the parking lot that commutes downtown.
