Stay tuned..........

Came off the hill last night at 10PM from the Hwy 2 ride........We had sled vs tree many times, we saw the $100 lake and found a few more, we had tons of tree/chute challenges, and we had an avalanche incident at the end of the day that fortunately only resulted in a totalled sled..........

To tired to post up pics but I think we probably have 700!

How does the sled look in the day light??? LOL.....

Many thanks to everyone who helped dig out my sled and get it so I could ride it out....its has a few issues. And special thanks to the small trees that totally saved my as* its amazing how strong you become when all depends on not letting go as the snow is going over the top of you.....

WOW!!!! Glad your still with us buddy! Sounds like an exciting day!! Hope you have a great birthday!:face-icon-small-blu:D

To those who spring ride...never underestimate the power of the "slough slide"...the wet heavy snow builds fast, and while it usually falls slow, if given a steep enough slope (see above) can become a powerful slide.

It was a pretty tense few minutes of no communication while Art got to his sled and radio...really glad only the sled was hurt.

In the pic looking up, he started at the very top of the ridge, with 2 ski brakes, and the slough just took his sled over.

Sleds can be replaced...glad it was just a sled!!

What a day! Thanks again Roger for sharing your awesome area with us!
Great group of people to spend the day with, we had a blast!
Tons of technical terrain to be had and the weather couldn't have been better.

Glad the sluffing incident didn't end up any worse! I think most of the damage will just buff out anyway, and now Art can get the bigger clear tank so he doesn't run out so often:p
