Yup, that's what I was thinking. I've had water bottles freeze in my tunnel pack sitting on the exchanger. No doubt you'd be left with ice blocks on the handlebars.

Water on your back = win.. if you keep the mouth piece from freezing! :P

My dad uses a handle bar bag similar to this with the bottle pouches.
I've seen him have to drink slush/ice a few times. :P


But on a more pos. note, it does look handy for storing a radio, gps, cam, etc...for quick access. but I think they have a different product around for just that sorta thing...

Camelbak is a great option. I rode with one on my bike.

This is just another option...I would use two travel mugs that have a secure closing top.
