Stator or Wiring Issue??

Last night I had my lights go super dim and my Koso EGT gauge go out. I need to check, but I think the gauge is hooked into the headlight wire. Sled still runs fine. Is the stator going out, or do I have a loose connection somewhere? If the stator was going out would I still have spark? Thanks.

i might be wrong here , but i think the stator has two seperate coils, a lighting coil which runs all lights and accesories and the other side which powers the coil...

Thanks, that makes sense. Guess I should look over all the grounds as well before I tear anything apart. Still have power to the lights, just not bright and not enough to power my EGT gauge.

Ended up being the two wires from the EGT gauge rubbing together causing the gauge to ground out and therefore causing the whole lighting/accessory system to ground out. Fixed!
