Stator Help!!

I have an 09' Dragon 800 and lost voltage on the Chassis Circuit down to 9.6V.

I determined that the Voltage Regulator is bad and the cause of the problem. I replaced the VR and have 14V on the chassis circuit now.

While testing the Stator per the OEM Service Manuel the BRN/WHT wire in the harness should read 0ohms to ground. It reads OL to ground. I ordered a new Stator and it also reads OL to ground on the BRN/WHT wire. Looking at the Stator the BRN/WHT wire goes to the windings and is isolated from ground. Is the OEM service manual wrong????????

What is OL? Call RM Stator and maybe they can clearify for you.

I was working on my '08 D8 a couple weeks ago and discovered the exact same thing. I went and tested my friends '08 D8 and his was the same way. At that point I figured the service manual was wrong. I found out my problem was something different entirely (broken reed) and now the sled rips again.
