Starter Noise new AXYS

Have a 17 AXYS PRO with electric start, it has a tapping sound on the mag side of the sled, kinda like someone tapping with a hammer on the bulk head by the shock, remove the starter and sound is gone along with some extra vibration???
I would just yard the hole starter off the sled but have a bad shoulder.
Anyone else seen this ?

Is the bendix gear fully retracting out of the starter gear on the clutch? Sounds like it might be sticking and turning the starter still after it's running.

Starter

Interesting ? If I remove only the starter it self (leaving all other parts) the noise and vibration stop , have inspected the bendix and everything seems ok , the starter has some end play to it, I think that's where the noise is , I don't think the flex shaft is letting the motor move in its mounts and transmitting the vibration to the starter. Just a guess ? My dealer has called Polaris and was told they were checking into it , makes me think that others have seen the same thing . ??????

Had same issue on a 13' now that I let it go .. replaced Bendix , flex Shaft

Now the Bendix (New) will not engage the ring gear , next order Ring!!
