Started yesterday, No Spark today

Hey Snowesters,
I'm hoping someone can give me some advice on my problem.
I am currently trying to sell my sled. When I showed it 2 days ago it started up on the first pull and ran like a beauty. It was probably 50 degrees outside. The next day the guy came to buy the sled and it would not start it was probably a few degrees colder.
It is not sparking. Took the kill switch of right away still nothing. Wiggled and jiggled the key still nothing.
The only thing I did to it between the viewing and the supposed to be sale was replace the recoil. The sled didn't even move positions or anything......
Can someone please help?????

Was your old recoil in pieces? If so maybe a piece of some thing fell in to the stator and is causeing the said problem:face-icon-small-con

I'd bet it's something with your tether / key. Of course, as stated above, you might have created some problem with the stator -- it is right behind the recoil.

did you pull the tether to show him it worked?

Pull teather and look inside it and make sure the little x piece is still in there or was there. I helped a couple last year i came across on the hill that when he fell off the teather come off and did its job. Well when they put it back on it wouldn't start. I pulled the teather and you could see it had moved when they put it on and turned it to make sure the teather was making good conection. Turned it back to the marks and it fired off first pull. Otherwise your stator might have poo'd on ya. A buddy's poo'd mid hill.

Look around really close in the area you were working. You may have accidentally disconnected something, left something unplugged. Was working and you did some work and now no workie, look it over. Clean the inside of your DESS key with a Q-tip and isopropyl alcohol
