Stampede Sun. 4-13 Wow!

OK so it was 4-14, arrived Sunday morning to new snow and sunshine unfortunately we were riding our wives short track 600's, good workout, lots of fresh.

X2 on parking where abouts. I drove over earlier in the week and gold creek was looking bare next to the highway. Also might ride this weekend.

Parking

Guys...greenwater and stampede both got 2+ feet this weekend and its still snowing. It doesn't matter what it was like last week...there a lot of fresh new now!

Is the parking lot still open where can you park ? Can you still camp there ?

The lot is closed, bit of a cluster, get there early. We parked right at the gate off to the side, do not block the gate, we had homeowners show up, open the gate, then closed behind them.

We rode a lot at Stampede last year this time. We parked up the road by the "fire station" right on the shoulder. We never got bothered but does anyone know what's legal this time of year?

DEEP was the word of the day. We saw you guys on the power lines as we passed through. What a great day it was.

I didn't see any of your signature donuts on the hillsides, probably because we didn't get more than about 7 or 8 miles from the snow park. Would have been nice to get out a little farther like you guys, wasn't happenin'. Nice pic's, good day for sure, gotta be liking the XM.
