Stampede pass

The sno park is a mud pit and trucks still screwing around up there a little ways up destroying the trails down low. But gets better as you get up there. Probably 2-1/2' on the ground at the weather station as of Saturday afternoon.

Anyone up at Crystal Springs this weekend?

Looks like we might get 5-8" new on Sunday/Sunday night.

Thinking of taking my 13 y/o son for a trail ride Monday MLK with his "new to him" M6 - but not worth it if it's rutted up dirt & mud.

Thanks

Was up riding this past weekend riding Stampede out of Crystal Springs Snopark. The trails are well groomed but icy in portions and very close to wearing through to the gravel.
The parking lot is pretty much bare gravel.

The snow depth up in the higher elevations probes between 15-18". Don't even think about riding under the power lines. Sunday was sunny and felt like spring trail riding. On the plus side there is nobody up there so just burning gas on the trails was fun!

So, one is still limited to trail riding from Crystal Springs Snopark until the next accumulation
